Analysis of Tourism in the Republic of Macedonia 1945-2015
Abstract
The paper analyzes the tourism in the Republic of Macedonia for the period 1945-2015. Tourism is explored through a case study of Butler's Talc model of life cycle of tourism, in the Republic of Macedonia - a small Balkan continental tourist destination. The analysis is based on primary and secondary data sources for a period of 70 years. The paper points out and recommends practical advice fор motivating key players in forming economic policy for tourism development.
